The Rope Rescue Technician course is the second of three International Technical Rescue Association (ITRA) rope qualification levels. It will equip you with the skills and knowledge to work as part of a team to respond to rope rescue incidents in both the high angle environment.


The course covers a range of skills such as pick offs, high angle stretcher work, artificial high directionals, knot passing and offsets. The course content meets and/or exceeds that of the "UKFRS Operator Level" and "NFPA 1006 Technician".


Your course will be delivered by experienced and highly qualified emergency professionals with extensive experience in the emergency services or industrial emergency response sector. You will be taught the latest techniques with a range of the most up to date equipment from various manufacturers.

Level 2 Rope Rescue Technician

  • The course fee includes the tuition, assessment fees, student membership to ITRA, lunch and refreshments, as well as an ITRA certificate with a patch on successful completion.
